Good to Gold #Colgate360GoldMornings

Colgate Gold Morning

Yeah, you read the title right. I am not talking about The self help book Good to Great. I am actually talking about Good to Gold. I am not an early morning person but mornings still are the best times of the day. Open your window to smell the freshness and the early morning bustle will definitely give you a jolt of energy. Those mornings are Good Mornings. But then, what makes a morning truly awesome? What does it take to change a Good morning to a Gold morning? Not sure?

Positive Attitude and Gratitude!

Well, it is a fresh morning and you are alive right? No matter how good or bad the situation in your life is at the moment. You are alive, you are breathing and you have another day to set things right. Beginning every day with this thought, with this feeling will surely turn your morning from good to gold. Just close your eyes and say thank you for every thing that you have. Every single thing. Food, a home, clothes, money are the obvious ones. Being able to see, hear and touch, being able to walk and talk, being able to actually get up from the bed and go about your day without physical dependence on anyone. Aren’t these great too? We notice these things only when they are gone and take them for granted. How about saying thank you to the universe for them too?

It takes a little shift of attitude, a little adjustment to the way of thinking and before you know it, gratitude becomes a part of your psyche. You say thank you for the smallest of things and as a result you focus on the positive rather than the negative. Don’t we all love to be around such people. Wouldn’t it be great if we could actually become such a person? A small effort every morning – to think of all that is right in your world and feel gratitude for it – will take each and every morning of yours from Good to Gold.

This is my Mantra for #Colgate360GoldMornings
