AtoZChallenge – Zig Zagler Quote
When I had first heard this quote I was a decade younger, had just joined a new job that sounded like a great opportunity and was on the brink of getting married. It was a happy time for me. I had the drive that comes from youth, the adrenaline from new and exciting things in life and was highly eager to prove myself. I did not think I needed daily motivation.
A few years down the line, matrimonial bliss settled into matrimonial routine, the job began to get monotonous and there were times au questioned, “What am I doing with my life?” Those are the times I needed motivating. Thanks to my support system, family and friends I had that and was able to change directions so I had new and exciting things happening once more. In those days, I came across this quote again and I realised how important this is. Self motivation is a myth and external help is surely needed to be motivated. That is where our ecosystem comes into play
I do believe what goes around, comes around and hence when it came to motivation, I try my best to be supportive and encouraging of others as much as I can. If anyone in my circle of influence wants to do something good, I would be the one cheering them on..! What about you? Are you a motivator?

I thought I disliked journaling because I don’t do well with prompts. Then I realised the problem was not the blank page. It was what the blank page might reveal.
We could have been Gen Y. Instead, we became millennials: the generation that remembers landlines and floppy disks, but somehow also has to manage passwords, updates, and overflowing cloud storage.
I started the A to Z Challenge thinking I had chosen storytelling as a theme. Twenty-six posts later, I realised I had been writing about people, survival, identity, discomfort, and the stories we tell ourselves to keep going.
