This year was the most difficult Karwachauth ever! Two days before the festival my daughter contracted Conjunctivitis and a day before hubby and FIL did. On the eve of the festival, as I returned after applying mehndi (henna) to both my hands, I realised that one of my eyes was affected too. The morning of karwachauth dawned with an aching and watering eye and loads of discomfort. While I observed the fast, I was not keen on dressing up. It was a few of my friends who egged me on and I am quite thankful to them. This was my Karwachauth Look.
