A Blog Makeover!! #MicroblogMondays #MondayMusings

For a few weeks now, I had been thinking of changing the look of my blog. When I started looking at templates, I had a very different idea of what I wanted. However, when I came across this template called Alizee from aThemes, I fell in love. It is quite different, allows a lot of customisations and is responsive!

If you were around yesterday, you would have probably seen some of the looks I was trying 🙂 I am still tinkering with the colours and menus so bear with me.

I believe in this firmly and like to shake up things a little. What do you think of my blog’s new look?

In other news, my post from last Monday about Mid Life Crisis and Snail Mail made it to the top page in Indiblogger. It is the first time this has happened so naturally, I am excited!!

This is my post for Monday Linkups at #MondayMusings at Write Tribe and #MicroblogMondays at Stirrup Queens. Come join the fun 🙂

Lovely new look, Ankita. Congrats on making the top in Indiblogger! 🙂

    Hi Ankita,

I want to change my theme too and am testing a few out right now. I think we have to test and tweak things before we find what we like.

I don’t think you can go wrong with a simple design and easy on the eyes. I’ll have to stop back by later to see if you’ve made anymore changes. I know you’ll find what suits you the best.

    Nice job my dear.

      Hi Adrienne,

I cannot tell you how excited I am to see your comment here! Would love for you to stop by later as well. I am thinking of playing with the colours and fonts a bit.

I have always felt that simple (with a touch of elegance, the way I like it) is the TOUGHEST to achieve! Quirky is easier to achieve.

      Thanks for stopping by!

Hey – I like the colors. That slight pinkish background is a win and so is the red. Your picture on the header is cool. I like this one. Keep experimenting and yes, congrats on the top post grab! 🙂

I love tinkering around with templates and themes too, so I know the feeling. This one looks good!

Thanks Corinne… it does get monotonous after a while… however, wordpress templates are so time consuming to find and update!

The new blog look is refreshing. I love the shades of red. The most impressive part is the header with your reflection.
Congratulations for making it to the top page of indiblogger.
