I was never a skincare junkie. Well, I am not one even now, but approaching 40, I started to think about it very seriously. I dabbled a bit with cosmeceutical skincare products and that did not work out very well for me. So, I turned back to more natural formulations. At this time, the team at Deyga reached out to me for a collaboration, and I jumped at the opportunity. I picked out two products to try – Deyga Rosehip Seed Oil and SPF30 Sun Screen.
Update: Deyga Rosehip seed oil has become a permanent part of my skincare now. I have used it daily for almost one year and am very happy with the results.
Deyga Rosehip Seed Oil
The packaging of this product is very is simple and I loved the fact that it came in an eco-friendly outer cover. Deyga Rosehip seed oil itself is almost odourless and a lovely golden orange in colour. It is not very greasy. Please check the video at the end of the post to get an idea. It is definitely less greasy as compared to coconut oil and olive oil. It does need a bit of rubbing and patting to absorb. Once done, it leaves the skin radiant. Even though I have oily skin, using this oil does not enhance the oiliness on my face. I love this fact!
My skin had been inflamed by using incorrect chemical products. I’d read that Rosehip seed oil is supposed to be great in treating inflamed skin and reduce scars. It is also believed to be great in anti ageing effect and was my natural choice! Rosehip seed oil is said to have immense benefits, but like any natural product, it needs consistent usage over time. I have used it almost everyday for the last 2 months and have noticed a reduction in redness.
I also liked that it comes in a dark glass bottle (which prolongs the life of the product) with a dropper cap. That makes it easy to use and control the amount needed. I use one drop a day on a slightly moist face and have more than half the bottle left over still.

Deyga SPF30 Sun Screen
I have recently started wearing sun screen at home and was looking for an everyday option. This need was my motivation to try out this product. Deyga Sun Screen comes in two variants – SPF 20 and SPF 30. I picked out the SPF 30 one. It is made with ingredients like Raspberry seed oil, Carrot seed oil, Natural Zinc oxide, Almond oil, Shea butter, Bees wax, Vitamin E oil, Sunflower oil and Olive oil. Because of all the moisturising ingredients, it also doubles up at a moisturiser for me.
This is a 100 ml tub and I need a tiny pea sized amount. This tub is going to last for a long time. I have also used it as a hand cream at times. It takes a bit of work to get absorbed but once done, I loved the softness of my hands. I found that the sun screen works better on slightly damp skin. Once it is applied, there is no white cast. It does have a slight smell though which is probably cotton seed oil. The smell is not unpleasant but it is there. As an indoor sunscreen, it works very well. I work next to a window all day and have not noticed any tanning for the last two months. When I go out, I use SPF 50+ because I get tanned really easily. Wearing that much SPF indoors is not needed and that makes this product a good option.
I found two issues with the Deyga Sunscreen though. One is that the ingredient list does not have percentages mentioned. This information is not added on the website as well. The other is that the packaging is neither travel friendly not use friendly. Am not a fan of tub packing because of hygiene issues. Dipping your finger in the tub for a product like this is messy. I always end up leaving a part of the tub messy.

Final Thoughts
Finally, I am very happy with the Rosehip seed oil. If you are looking for a fuss free natural skincare product, you can definitely give it a shot. The sun screen is something that takes work and if you are okay to put in the effort, it is a lovely product and economical too.
Please note that the product was sent to me by the brand for review. This has not altered my opinion about the product. I have tried to be as accurate as possible in my post. This is my own experience and not an alternative to medical advice.
