This picture was taken in Februaury 2015 at Kanyakumari, a city located at the southern most tip of India. The Arabian Sea and The Bay of Bengal join to form The Indian Ocean here. The sea is extremely turbulent! We are on the Vivekananda Rock memorial in the middle of the sea. The wind was crazy and angry waves lashed out at the rocks sending sprays of salty sea water all over. The boats looked likt pendulums really. That day, we realised the power of water. You get to see a huge wave in motion, creating a blast of sea spray 🙂
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Motion.”
Such a beautiful image. The sea is always a fabulous muse.
Indeed it is… thanks for liking it 🙂
