Do I like taking Selfies? Yes I do! They are whole lots of fun 🙂 My daughter loves taking selfies much more than I do and I call her selfie queen. So the title of this post is also dedicated to her. When she gets a phone in hand she makes all sorts of funny faces and clicks one after another. There are never less than twenty selfies at one go!
Why do I like taking selfies?
First up, they are fun. Once you get past the consciousness of posing and finding the right angle, a selfie is loads of fun! I did struggle with taking good selfies initially. I then found a great video by Michelle Phan. In this video she explains the art and science of taking good selfies. It is a short video but very very effective. She talks about lighting, angles and sides.
Most people take selfies in the bathroom. That is my least favourite setting though! I love taking selfies in the car. On my way to work. While I have taken selfies on my travels too, I prefer taking selfies to capture day to day moments. Most of my selfies will have been taken on good hair days or good skin days. A few would be on good makeup days too.

Haha. I’m a selfie addict to the core. Even though I don’t have a selfie camera phone, I struggle happily in my conquest to take the best selfie!

My take is the exact opposite. I hate taking selfies. They never come out well. And the whole selfie craze frustrates me! 🙂
I used to be like that! I began enjoying it when the selfies started coming out better :p
